•This week we pray for those to whom parents in Carlisle have entrusted their children for multiple hours each day, the teachers in grades K-8 of the local school. The work of a teacher continually demands making judgments, thinking of what any particular child needs most, managing a classroom of students for the most efficient use of time, and knowing how to love the children in ways that will spur them to learn what they will need to function in the culture where God has placed them. The continual preparation of lesson plans and the agonizing over just grading is all consuming for teachers, many of whom are parents themselves. Pray that they may be faithful in their own families. Pray also that they may genuinely seek Truth and justice, live mercy and grace before their children, and become more and more aware of their responsibility before the living God for this work to which He has called them for these children. Next week: we pray for homeschooling parents in Carlisle.
•Karim & Sula L. request prayer that Sula will be able to obtain her driving license before Karim returns to his clinical rotation beginning in March 22. Pray that they make their relationship and marriage a priority this year. Pray that we continue to be faithful to God and his provision to make it this year spiritually and financially. Thank you so much for praying for our family!
•Erinn P. continues in a coma and in critical condition at a hospital in Brooklyn, NY, following a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident while Erinn and her friend were crossing the street on February 28th. There has been some slight movement of Erinn's hand, and the plan is to move Erinn to a Boston Hospital when she is more stable. Erinn's father, John, works with Richard D.
•Please be praying for Walter & Diane T., friends of Don & Kay M. and Eric & Deborah F. The T. are grand-parents of Olivia M. of Westford, killed by her father, who also wounded his wife, Jody M., daughter of Walter & Diane. Jody is recovering and has been upgraded from critical condition to serious condition at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
•Please pray for Steve A. The pain in his legs is getting worse, and he is having nausea and heart flutters. All of this affects his sleep. It encourages him to know people are praying for him.
•Please continue for John M.’s Aunt Rena as she continues her recovery because we all believe it is the prayers and love that have helped her come this far, and they will help her to continue on to the goal of walking out of rehab. The M. family is so very grateful for the prayers warrior at CCC and their willingness to pray for our aunt. What a blessing you all are!
