•Our church family prayer focus for this coming week is Bob and Elsa N.

•Please pray for John B., who fell as he was leaving an appoint-ment at Emerson and severed the quadriceps tendon at his right knee. Surgery to reattach went well. There will be a long period of recovery. Pray for recuperation without complications, patience to deal with the changes this will bring to their lifestyle (no driving for some time for John), and rest and strength day to day. Writes Barbara: "We are so thankful for the Lord's provision that we have witnessed thus far and trust in Him for what is needed. Thank you for your prayers."

•Please continue praying for the M. and H. families as they grieve the death of John’s aunt and Gary’s mother.

•Please continue praying for Keith & Bonnie (who are in the Philippines until February 11th) as they minister in Davao City and Manila with Barnabas International. They will be with Wycliffe and TAP (Translation Association of the Philippines) missionaries and their families doing Bible studies, retreats, chapels, seminars, sermons - an intense trip - your prayers are much needed and appreciated! (There’s a letter from them of the Missions bulletin board).

•Bill G.'s sister, Robin B., is doing well with her cancer treatment and thanks you for uplifting her in prayer. Please pray that the cancer treatment will be effective.

•Love S.'s niece, Melanie H., has had a stroke. Your prayers would be much appreciated for her as she begins physical therapy to retrain her right hand and leg.

•Please pray for Mona B., a close colleague of Matt P., recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer. Prayer for grace and comfort for her family as well as medical guidance for her physicians would be appreciated as she prepares to undergo treatment over the coming months.

•Dear friends - We thank you all for your prayers and support for Raymond. We are still waiting to see if he will be accepted into the Undiagnosed Disease Program at the National Institute of Health. All his medical records are there, and we are awaiting a decision which may take many more weeks if not months. We would also like to ask a new request now for our son Theodore. We have known for about a year now that Teddy is developing the same symptoms that Ray started with early in his disease. Activities which Teddy has enjoyed for the past few years (violin and archery) have become increasingly difficult for him. He is losing his muscle strength in the same way Ray did early on. Teddy is also suffering from muscle pain and weakness like Ray. Teddy will also be included in some of the genetic studies if Raymond is accepted into the NIH Program. Please pray that we get diagnoses soon, and we will have answers and possible treatments for this disabling muscle disease. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. - James 5:17-18. Thank you so much, Sue and Alan Anganes

•Please continue praying for Steve & Deb W. as they make decisions in providing care for Steve’s Dad.
