Deacon Board
The Deacon board at the Carlisle Congregational Church is elected by the church membership and is comprised of up to six. Members are elected to three-year terms.
Their call is to oversee the ministries analogous to those overseen by the deacons of the early church. Their areas of oversight include:
- Helps
- Administration
- Operations
- Stewardship/Finance
- Communications/Technology
The Deacons meet formally once a month on the second Tuesday, concurrently with the Elders and then separately as a board. Concerns of members or attendees can be addressed to any deacon and when appropriate to the board as a whole.
